Practice Background

The Hamilton Practice is a medium sized practice in the former London over-spill town of Harlow. The town has a population of some 100,000 residents, with the practice having around 11% of the population as its list of registered patients.

The patients are a mixed socio economic group, ranging from patients living in the affluent Tye Green Village district through elderly residents of warden-controlled homes to single mothers on low incomes.

The practice list size is currently just over 10,750. Most of the patients live within a short distance of the practice, in the Bush Fair district of Harlow. However, a significant proportion live somewhat farther afield, although all reside within the boundaries of Harlow Town.
